Harmon Lake

Harmon Lake is a man-made lake in southwestern North Dakota near the town of Mandan. The lake was created in 1985 by damming the Heart River and covers an area of around 1,500 acres. It is a popular spot for fishing, boating, camping, and hiking, with several recreational areas and campgrounds around the lake. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish including walleye, northern pike, perch, and largemouth bass. The area around Harmon Lake is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, elk, coyotes, and eagles.
